Why?

In this session, we will discuss inclusion: what it means for Process Educators and how we can deliberately incorporate this in our practice, whether our practice is in the classroom as part of a DDO, or in any other context.

Before the session:

  1. Watch Chimamanda Adichie's TED talk (17 mins)
  2. Take the implicit bias "Weapons IAT" test. First visit: https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/takeatest.html then scroll down to click, “I wish to proceed” then click “Weapons IAT” button on the left edge of the screen
  3. Complete the “Strategies for Inclusive Classrooms” exercise (this is on the Member's site so you'll need to log in to complete the survey).
  4. Review the plans for Part A and Part B of the session, and prepare to contribute and participate.
