What engaged or excited you most about learning when YOU were a student?

Especially engaging were instances when I was called upon to lead classroom mini-sessions. What I quickly appreciated was that the assumption that all learners would read my mind and follow my preferred solution path was flawed. Coaching by high school teachers, college instructors, and faculty colleagues raised my awareness of and proficiency in using facilitation plans. This also resonated with my interest in systems thinking, encouraging me to consider both content and process elements in many different performance contexts.
